Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

Welcome to our pages dedicated to supporting families of children with additional needs. At Moorside we aim to provide an inclusive educational experience for all our pupils. Here you can find out more about how, together, we support all our children to achieve their full potential.

Our SENDCo is Miss Alison Lay. She can be contacted on 01524 66516 and [email protected].

Our weekly Wellbeing Cafe is hosted by Miss Lay and Mrs Lisa Newton, our Pastoral Support Manager. The Wellbeing Cafe is currently online using Zoom on Thursdays at 9:15am. You can join the cafe by simply clicking here.

Every year we update our SEND policy, our SEND information report (about the implementation of our policy) and our local offer (how we support children to to achieve their full potential). Click on the red text to access each document.

If you would like further information about Lancashire’s information for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families you can find it here at their local offer.
