My child is struggling with learning. What can I do to help?
All children learn at different rates and in different ways. They will all have strengths as well as things that they find challenging. In the first instance, read the Curriculum News that explains what your child is currently learning about in school. Talking to your child about things you find interesting about the topics being covered is a great way to support their vocabulary and pique their interest.
We encourage you talk to your child’s teacher about your concerns. They will be able to let you know how your child is finding their school work in relation to the national curriculum expectations and the extent to which they are meeting them.
If you still have concerns or further questions, contact the SENDCo on email@example.com.
