Moorside School is set in buildings and grounds that are the envy of other schools in the County. The classrooms are large, bright and airy and the wide corridors provide space for children to work and to move around in comfort.
The school has two school halls and a dining room, an IT suite and two libraries. We have many other rooms for small and large group teaching, special needs support, hearing impairment specialism and a centre for our Learning Mentors to work from.
We have a brand new suite of rooms for Moorside Pre School and a Community Suite providing letting and meeting opportunities for local community groups and associated agencies.
The grounds are extensive with woods, a meadow, sports fields and playgrounds all set amongst lawns where children can explore and play safely and happily.
